OPERATION BIKE FIND

 

OPERATION BIKE FIND IS A PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE ABILENE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE ABILENE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT TO HELP POLICE TRACE THE OWNERS OF LOST OR STOLEN BICYCLES. PARTICIPANTS FILL OUT AN INFORMATION FORM FURNISHED BY THE ABILENE POLICE DEPARTMENT. THE INFORMATION OBTAINED IS ENTERED INTO A COMPUTER DATABASE ALLOWING THE BICYCLE TO BE TRACED AND RETURNED TO THE OWNER.
